HBO's adaptation of George R.R. Martin's epic saga A Song of Ice and Fire continues this spring with Game of Thrones Season 2. The second season, which will cover the events of A Clash of Kings (ASoIaF book two), is scheduled to premiere on April 1, and HBO's been gradually preparing for its next campaign with casting reveals, promotional photos, and behind-the-scenes videos. The latest piece, "In Production--Croatia," shows off the IRL locations that the Game of Thrones crew is using to bring the novel's places and people to life. Want to know how they made such a convincing King's Landing? Watch and learn, GeekOlogists. Watch... and learn.

In Production - Croatia

The simple fact that executive producer/writer D.B. Weiss is wearing a Kingdom of Loathing shirt in this interview is reason enough to lend Game of Thrones Season 2 your unwavering support. Add in this parade of visual splendor and a king's ransom of intrigue, bloodshed, and fantasy goodness, and you've got one of the best damn genre shows on television.

Spring is coming, GoT fans! Get ready to head back to Westeros this April.
