Derek Lowe went down to Georgia and was accused of DUI and racing, but the charges were later dropped. Hmmm. Something fishy is happening here. Being intoxicated and attempting to drag race seems like a fairly clear-cut offense, right? That is typically the case, unless the arresting officer decides to take a power trip and hassle the accused driver. This video certainly makes it seem as though the officer who pulled over Atlanta Braves pitcher Derek Lowe was fishing for a little extra sauce that might not have been there.

Derek Lowe seems generally confused, especially when the officer asks him if he has any weapons on him. Maybe Lowe is confused because he's wasted, or perhaps he doesn't undertand how anyone wearing khaki shorts could be accused of carrying weapons. The video is short and sweet; it's no Shin-Soo Choo.
