ABC has announced the cast for season 11 of Dancing With the Stars--and it's good, guys. Like, it'll make you burst out in disbelieving laughter with each name. Then again, some of these celebs have been in the news so frequently of late--and seem to crave so much exposure--that their inclusion isn't so surprising. It is, however, delightful.
MICHAEL BOLTON

The dances will probably be a bit faster than the "When a Man Loves a Woman" singer is used to, but then again, he recently co-wrote a song with Lady Gaga.
BRANDY

You mean Ray J won't be tagging along? Ah well--the fairer half of the Family Business duo will still entertain, especially if she incorporates her new rap alter-ego into the dances.
MARGARET CHO

Um, yes. The actress/comedian is no stranger to wacky outfits, and though she's a hoot as the protagonist's assistant on Drop Dead Diva, it'll be good to see her take center stage.
DAVID HASSELHOFF

Let's see if "The Most Watched TV Star in the World" will garner ratings during his DWTS stint--he's got an edge from his experience on-stage in Chicago and The Producers. Here's an idea for the sweeps show--use one of the Hoff's hits?
MIKE "THE SITUATION" SORRENTINO

What do you want to bet he'll wear one of his own designs?
BRISTOL PALIN

No duh, especially since she lost her chance to shop around a show with Levi Johnston since they, you know, broke their engagement a second time. Now little Tripp will have something in common with season 10 contestant Kate Gosselin's kids--no mom around, and a deadbeat dad!
JENNIFER GREY

Washed-up actress looking for a semi-steady gig? Check.
KURT WARNER

Football blah blah, first quarterback on DWTS, woo.
Then there are some wild cards.
FLORENCE HENDERSON

Are you even kidding--Mrs. Brady?! Vote. Done.
RICK FOX

"Why the excitement?" you might ask. "We've already got a sports guy." Ah, but have you seen Fox on One Tree Hill or the recently deceased Melrose Place? If he can bring that camp to the dance floor, then it will make for great TV.
KYLE MASSEY

This one just comes out of nowhere. I'll jog your memory--it's the kid from Disney's Cory in the House. Yeah, we didn't watch it either. But I'm interested to see if a lesser-known Disney spawn has what it takes.
AUDRINA PATRIDGE

Considering that her recent work had her lounging around in a bikini and giving other people significant looks, we're not sure if Audrina can stand up to the competition. But we'd love to see her try.
Surprised? Excited? What do you think of the newest cast? Dancing With the Stars season 11 premieres on ABC Monday, September 20 at 8 p.m.--during which the couples will dance either a Viennese waltz or a cha-cha--with a regular time of Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
