Big Brother recap: Season 12, episode 24 "Meow Wow" (9/1/10)
Day 56. Lane is HoH. Enzo and Ragan are on the block.
RAGAN - I am completely by myself.
Ragan's brain goes into overdrive. He figures Enzo is the most expendable Brigade member. He studies the teeth and hair of former PoV winners, talking to himself continuously. John Nash he ain't. The PoV Competition features Otev the Broadway Clam singing songs that describe two former house-guests each. The players must root around in a swamp to retrieve CDs labeled with the appropriate titles. Lane's out first.
LANE - I hate you, clam, hamburglar, whatever you are.
It eventually comes down to Ragan and Enzo. No matter what, Lane's gonna have to put up either Hayden or Britney, his two best friends in the house. With a surprising action movie-worthy lunge, Enzo defeats Ragan, winning his first PoV. Ragan is understandably distraught. Enzo is understandably and deservedly elated - he finally won something!
The second Pandora Punishment is revealed: For the next 12 hours, each person must use an appropriately designed sock puppet whenever they speak. This calls for many brilliant Sifl and Ollie style shots. Ragan lies in the hammock, crying as he stares into the eyes of his sock avatar. Britney throws out what appears to be totally decent food in the kitchen - roughly half of what they had - and fails to recycle a single item.
Punishment Three is revealed: The housemates must dance whenever music is blared over the loudspeaker, regardless of the hour. This proves a solid source of entertainment and a true window into the souls of these people. Hayden is a hideous dancer. Britney, on the other hand, I could watch bounce dance all day.
At the Veto Meeting, Enzo obviously saves his own ass, and Lane nominates Hayden as his replacement. Why? Via confessional, we learn that Lane (going against Brigade protocol) wants Britney and himself to be the final two, thus guaranteeing him a better chance at winning. Did he not watch last season?
