Richard Griffiths, best known for playing Uncle Vernon on the Harry Potter series, has died at the age of 65. The British actor died after complications from heart surgery at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire in England on Thursday, March 28.
Fans of the J.K. Rowling series were introduced to Griffiths' character from the start, and will be remembered especially by his costar Daniel Radcliffe.
"Richard was by my side during two of the most important moments of my career. In August 2000, before official production had even begun on Potter, we filmed a shot outside the Dursley's, which was my first ever shot as Harry.
