Game 3 of the NBA Finals last night was a bit ugly, in the sort of way that Medusa is a bit difficult to look at. So we'll skip the missed shots, the turnovers and the abstract discussion of "clutch" and "being the man" and "championship caliber" in favor of this clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Sports media scrums are famously dull affairs rife with platitudes and athletes who would rather be undergoing a colonoscopy than answering banal questions from jaded reporters. When someone upsets the delicate balance of the sports media scrum, the result is almost always hilarious. That's definitely the case for Guillermo, who traveled to the Finals on Jimmy Kimmel's behalf to interview the biggest NBA stars of the day.
Of the players interviewed, only Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant acquit themselves well, showing off good senses of humor and general affability. It's ALMOST enough to make up for Wade's hit-and-miss performances in the playoffs. Almost.
Curiously, none of the players responded with "That's a clown question, bro." HOW IS THIS NOT A COMMON RESPONSE YET?
