Fine, England. Your manager -- WHO YOU DIDN'T EVEN WANT -- has turned you into a team capable of advancing to the quarterfinals of Euro 2012. What's more, you managed to get three nice goals in a 3-2 victory over Sweden that knocked the Swedes (and ZLATAN) out of Euro 2012. The nicest, though, came from Danny Welbeck, who may lose his place in the starting lineup to Wayne Rooney when the suspended Man U man returns.
Theo Walcott changed the game when he came on as a substitute, first scoring a goal that froze everyone on the Swedish defense, then providing the assist on Welbeck's backheel. Everyone knows how much I despise the British, but dammit, I know a great goal when I see it. As another decentBrit, Ali G, might say, respect, Danny Welbeck. Respect.
Hurry and watch before someone tries to claim copyright on Welbeck's personal work of genius!
