So the latest in semi-WTF casting news, Rose Huntington-Whiteley has signed on for the new reboot of Mad Max (titled Mad Max: Fury Road) staring my dream man Tom Hardy. I'm just kind of confused with this news. Did anyone actually see Transformers 3? Let's just say I wasn't inspired by her breakout acting performance as much as Michael Bay was.
But I suppose she's kind of used to hard core apocalyptic scenerios by now. She's been dating Jason Statham ("The Stath") and you can bet that he treats her lady parts like a piece of meat that needs to be tendorized. It's a miracle she hasn't been ripped in half.

Mad Max: Fury Road is the first reboot in a planned two- they will be shot back to back starting in the next few months. The rest of the cast currently includes Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravtiz.
Of course, maybe Huntington-Whiteley is just there to look pretty (her role is apparently one of the "five wives." She can certainly do that. Maybe I just don't like this news because I'm actually very, very jealous. #WomenFolk.
