The White House today released the shocking news that Michelle Obama has a Pinterest page. As nobody has ever joined, or ever will join, Pinterest for any reason other than organizing their wedding crap, this is a clear and stunning indication that Michelle Obama is getting remarried. (Biden!) The page claims to be run by the Obama reelection team, which means the campaign is aware of Michelle's plan to remarry and is hoping to get ahead of the story.
All the more troubling, it indicates the furthest step yet that Pinterest has taken toward its inevitable fate of being bought by a conglomerate of Modern Bride and some fashion retailers to direct-market wedding accessories to giddy affianced women. But it was a nice social media revolution while it lasted, right?
