If you are a shoe fanatic or simple enjoy reading about patty cat fights lawsuits between designers, then you'd remember Louboutin sued Yves Saint Laurent last year for copying their "trademark" red sole, and Louboutin's request was refused because it was a super pointless accusation — as District Judge Victor Marrero put it, "every painter and designer in producing artful works enjoys equal freedom to pick and choose colour from every streak of the rainbow.' Well, apparently Louboutin didn't learn his lesson because he did the exact same thing with fast-fashion chain Zara. Back in 2008, Louboutin accused Zara France of selling open-toed high heels that too-closely resembled the Louboutin's YoYo collection. Zara then filed an appeal against the ridiculous lawsuit and — you guessed it—a French court ruled in favor of our very beloved high-street retailer to possess the right to sell red-soled shoes, or any color-soled shoes, for that matter.

Seriously, Louboutin, most of your allegations so far have been absurdly undue; save for your feud with Jessica Simpson because she totes ripped you (and every other label) off with her pink ankle-strap sandal. Still, you can probably bet your ass that Louboutin will head back to court to file something next year! We'll see.
