Even though we’re quite excited for some brand new series to make for a thriller of a summer season (The Newsroom! Anger Management! Snooki and JWoww!), the shows who already bask in the sun are more dependable than ever, guaranteed to make the upcoming months of small screen the hottest they’ve ever been. So two of TVOlogy’s most prominent voices—the royal Emily Cheever and the regal Terron R. Moore—will be discussing the best returning series this summer, with insider scoop you can’t get anywhere else. Follow us on Twitter for more details.
Monday, June 11 (live at 4pm EST): Five years in, it’s hotter, darker, and more supernatural than ever, not to mention that the cast members continue to get more bang-worthy (Christopher Meloni, anyone?) After HBO’s cult hit True Blood takes its first bite Sunday night, Emily Cheever explains just what makes the bloody show so damn delicious (so much so that she sped through four seasons just in time for the premiere), with previews of what’s to come in the series’ first four episodes.

Tuesday, June 12 (4pm EST): With TV bromance seeing a healthy presence on nearly every (good) show on TV, what the hell is it about Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) that makes USA’s Suits so damn cool? By putting a funnier, wittier spin on the familiar oldtimer-trains-young-pup-but-grows-to-learn-from-him story, Terron R. Moore takes the stand to give evidence why Season 2's premiere episode makes this show an even better summer must-see.
SUMMER TV PREVIEW WEEK: Suits Goes All In
Wednesday, June 13 (4pm EST): How this futuristic animated series survived a FOX cancellation only to be given a fantastic rebirth on Comedy Central is truly a testament to its cult status, and if you’re wondering if the summer will feature Futurama just as good as—or maybe better than—it’s ever been, Emily Cheever will take a look at the first two episodes of the new season, and then promptly answer that question for you.
SUMMER TV PREVIEW WEEK: Back To The Futurama
Thursday, June 14 (4pm EST): The phrases ‘MTV’ and ‘critical acclaim’ don’t usually go in the same sentence, but neither did ‘MTV’ and ‘drama’ just a few years ago. That all changed last year with the arrival of two breakouts: werewolf wonder Teen Wolf paved the way for what just might be the best teen show on television, the Ashley Rickards-led high school saga Awkward. Terron R. Moore tries to figure out its critically-acclaimed (seriously) charm with help from show studs Beau Mirchoff and Brett Davern, as well as the first two episodes of the new season.
SUMMER TV PREVIEW WEEK: There's Something About Awkward.
Friday, June 15 (4pm EST): Perhaps we used the phrase ‘best teen drama on television’ too soon, because nothing’s stopping TeenNick’s Degrassi from entering its epic twelfth season this July. After a game-changing finale that threw our favorite relationships into new territory, Terron R. Moore will talk about the show’s next moves with executive producer Stephen Stohn. He’ll try not to make every question about EClare, but he honestly can’t promise you that.
