Dancing with the Stars is known for getting athletes to loosen up on the dance floor, but it looks like a crowd favorite won't be returning for the all-star season! While promoting his latest show at the USA Network Upfronts on May 17, Kurt Warner let Ology about the upcoming season on ABC.

"A lot of people tweeted about that to me a while ago. Is it really happening? They are doing one?" he asked excitedly. Yep, they are! Though happy to hear that old contestants will be hitting the dance floor again, Warner quickly withdrew his name from consideration.
"I don’t think so," he said. It was a "great experience" but working 7-8 hours a day was definitely a killer for the NFL quarterback and MVP. Not that stepping up to the challenge once again would be difficult for him though. Warner was the last athlete standing in season 11 with the help of professional partner Anna Trebunskaya.
Warner may be hanging up his dancing shoes, but fans can catch him on the USA Network show The Moment up next. The nine-episode reality series will give ordinary people a second chance at the careers they once went after. A great fit for the football player too, who within 18 months went from bagging groceries to leading the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory.
