Oh yeah, a Dutch artist turned his dead cat into a helicopter. Bart Jansen partnered wit ha helicopter expert to turn his cat Orville, who had been hit by a car, into a feline helicopter. The cat was taxidermied first, and then given landing gear and propellers. You're goddamned right there's video:
A few things:
1) I like / think it's creepy how the cat still has on its face the look of surprise it clearly wore when it was hit.
2) Orville was named after Orville Wright, the American who was first in flight. Either that's a hell of a coincidence or something else is going on here.
3) If the internet has long been the province for cat memes—see I Can Haz Cheeseburger to the still-reigning Cat Personals—what does it mean that we have now progressed onto Dead Cat Memes? Is the internet about to die, or perhaps enter some undead zombie stage? Will its corpse lift off and leave us all behind?
