This spring the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up to take Oklahoma State's out-of-this-world receiver Justin Blackmon with the 5th overall pick in the NFL draft. He's yet to agree to a contract with the Jags, or else maybe he'd have ponied up for a cab ride last night.
Blackmon was arrested in Oklahoma in the wee hours of the night on the charge of aggravated DUI, which means his blood-alcohol content was over .15. He doesn't look nearly as happy in his mug shot as Lions defensive lineman Nick Fairly looked in his DUI mug earlier this year.
This is the second DUI arrest for Blackmon in the past two years, as he was caught driving drunk and 30 mph over the speed limit while on his way to watch a Dallas Cowboys game in October of 2010.
Blackmon caught 252 passes for 3,564 yards and 40 touchdowns for the Oklahoma State over the past three seasons, leading the nation with 20 scores in 2010. He was considered to be one of the best wide receiving prospects to hit the NFL draft in recent years.
Blackmon was booked into jail at 10 a.m. this morning, which means he had to have taken a long to time get processed, or he was out hella late.
