Let's hear it for progress! For whatever reason, Victoria's Secret has found it necessary to compile a list of blonde white women (and Beyonce) to determine who is the thinnest and prettiest by conventional (read: unattainable) beauty standards and thank GOD because Maxim did a pretty shitty job of superficially ranking women with their Hot 100 List. I mean, Amanda Bynes? Seriously, Maxim?
The "2012 What Is Sexy?" List has ranked everything from "Sexiest Summer Style" (which goes to a skinny white blonde chick) to "Sexiest International Import" (another skinny white blonde chick) to "Sexiest Tweeter" (which also goes to another skinny white blonde chick!), proving that beauty ideals have shifted about .00005483% in the past decade. All right! Famed TVOlogist Terron R. Moore isn't too pleased with the list and graciously offered up his insight: "They be giving out awards for the most irrelevant shit. Shiiit."
Anyway, out of the list of 18 superlatives, only two brunettes were named: sometimes-blonde Olivia Wilde and the cast of Pretty Little Liars, which totally counts as one person. I may be white and sort of skinny except for some excess hippage, but I'm also a brunette, so I'M OFFENDED, GODDAMNIT. There's also a link below the list that leads you to Victoria's Secret's What Is Sexy Collection, which includes products like a waist-cincher (which is advertised on a skinny blonde, of course!) and "V-string Panty." I really hate the word panty.
