We'll be seeing Curren$y's latest album The Stoned Immaculate next week alongside Big K.R.I.T.'s Live From the Underground (stream for free here), so it isn't much of a surprise to see that the pair readied up a track to drop shortly before to gain some dual promotion. Likewise with that, Spitta confirmed last week that he and Wiz Khalifa are working up a sequel to their How Fly collaborative album, so all the pieces fall together in benefit if you catch what I'm shooting at.
Anyway, for this latest track "Jet Life," the three came together to put out some chill-heavy sounds, with K.R.I.T. giving some amp to Spitta's style, and Wiz Khalifa suddenly more at ease alongside his fellow stoner companion. There's a definite glue between the trio, which resonates into the quality of the track which, in term, goes on to speak once more about what to expect from the album. We've heard plenty already, so don't be surprised if this comes out as one of Curren$y's finest.
Here's "Jet Life," give it a listen, throw up your thoughts. The Stoned Immaculate drops on June 5.
