Guessing none of you guys spent Memorial Day at Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands yesterday, so it's safe to assume you haven't heard that Mumford & Sons more or less announced on stage that their high-anticipated (shrug) new album (i.e. the follow-up to their preposterously popular 2009 debut Sigh No More) will be hitting stores and playlists in September. Headliner Bruce Springsteen was apparently so excited about the news, he invited the Brit-Folk troupe onstage with him to help "whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-ohhhh" on The River's "Hungry Heart."
Hard to tell exactly how amazing it was (Life altering? Mind-boggling? Existential crisis inducing?) from the crummy video footage, but judging from the crowd reaction, everyone in the Netherlands are both blind and deaf. Seriously, who doesn't clap their f@#king hands off during "Hungry Heart"? Way to be lame, all of Europe by extension. Serious psshhh on all of you. (Just kidding, we still love you.)
