Yes, that just happened. All of that just happened. Every Wednesday night, whether we're trying to get #Revenge to trend on Twitter (which isn't hard to do) or counting down the hours until the episode premieres, something always stays the same. Revenge takes it to the next level and alas—the past couple of times not even a red sharpie has been needed. The "Reckoning" followed the same formula as most of the others. It gave us twists and unexpected turns but there was a big difference. It may have used the same formula but holy Revenge, its now a completely new Hamptons ballgame. What the ABC series has brought us since day 1 in September is unbelievable. It only just wrapped its freshman season? Come ON. Jaw dropping doesn't even begin to describe the finale. The surprises, possible deaths, returns and epic music (yes, epic, thanks to composer Izler) are still trying to sink in.

To put it simply, which really can never be done with this show, Victoria finally finds out that David Clarke didn't just get killed in prison. It was Conrad who ordered the murder. When she finds out she convinces Lydia that Conrad will leave her once he goes under so they both in the very end decide to jump on a plane to Washington to discuss the case and put him away. But why would Conrad be in trouble? Daniel has those files that he left on the counter. Right?
Let's start from the beginning. Apparently, without a sound, Emily is able to mess up the living room and yells out to Daniel to come downstairs stating how a white haired guy (sneaky) just ran out. Daniel sees the files that could easily put Conrad away are missing. He tells his father and the game against that no name guy is on. Of course, Emily and those eyes tell a different story of where they have gone. But where's Gabriel to share the news of her latest retrieval? When someone doesn't pick up his or her cell in the Hamptons you know something is terribly wrong. She heads on over to his mansion to find his laptop with a note saying to call his cell or he dies. She calls, the paper is removed and Nolan is found in shackles. The white haired guy and Emily decide to meet up. Not before she reveals to him that she's Amanda Clarke though.
They meet up and for private reasons Emily seriously agrees to pass out by breathing in chloroform. She awakes tied up next to Nolan and before the man kills them she lies and says she has the files in a locked cabinet. He only leaves because if dead she wouldn't be able to further help him. (If in fact she's lying) He heads out and surprise, surprise—Emily pulls out a pin from her sleeve to unhook she and Nolan. "If I don't make it out of this, tell Jack I love him," she says as Nolan leaves to then plant Conrad's files in the car of a private detective. When the white haired man comes back they fight and before she kills she remembers a sweet moment between her and her father. Damn't! She keeps him alive, which ultimately brings us the biggest moment(s) of the night.
5 Huge Game Changers
(In list form because its way too much to handle)
1. Emily And Daniel Are Over
Emily and Daniel breakup! It is over! Ashley tells Daniel about she and Jack kissing and he confronts her. Victoria shows up later to make her open the engagement gift she had given her before. What's inside? NOTHING. She always knew it would never work out. Wow, just when you think we should be giving Victoria a little sympathy she goes and does something like that.
2. New Romance?
Ashley and Daniel are totally going to shack up.
3. Charlotte Overdoses!
Charlotte makes a fool of herself in front of Declan and later overdoses on pills once she sees a certain plane go down…
4. So Long Victoria And Lydia
That plane had Victoria and Lydia on it! That 5-minute scene with the music and setting just shows how far the show has come and where it will take us into season two. The two head to Washington as Conrad is seen burning a picture of the two. What a beast! He'll kill anyone who stands in his way. What else? The white haired man is the one handling the plane before takeoff! The news broadcasts that a plane with Victoria went down around 80 feet off the ground but doesn't report a death yet. So, who will it be? Odds are Lydia is finally and officially a goner and the Grayson women will be just fine.
5. Amanda Returns!
And she's pregnant! Emily heads to Jack's to give back Sammy's collar and to tell him EVERYTHING and Amanda shows up looking like she's in her third trimester. Jack looks caught in between but Emily just leaves and later cries. Come ON now. Jack would be a totally hot dad but please not this! Where has she been all this time? Is it even his? WHEN WILL HE EVER FIND OUT THE TRUTH?
Bonus
Emily tells Nolan about the plane crash and Jack and how everything is over. Without the files, which are now burned and destroyed after the crash, she has nothing. No evidence. But is it really over? Remember folks, Nolan always has something else to tell. He reveals that he's always kept a copy of the evidence and shows Emily footage of Victoria and Conrad talking about the Clarke scheme. This whole situation goes way back. So what else is there to reveal? Emily's mother is alive and kicking!
With a season that felt like a third, the next one up can't come quick enough. What else is there to do now? Hmm. Looks like there will be a lot of DVR moments in our future as we watch the entire season over and over again.
Emily's revenge is so not over yet.
SumOlogy: Returns, possible deaths and a Jack baby on the way leave for a crazy return come next season.
