Although The CW just renewed 90210 for a fifth season, TVline reports that Gillian Zinser won't be a series regular when the drama returns in the fall.

The CW cancels Ringer and Secret Circle
Her surfer girl character, Ivy, was introduced in season two. In the season four finale, Ivy was running for the border to Mexico with her boyfriend Diego, who was in danger of being deported.
A CW rep states that Zinser will appear as a guest star, although there's no word on how many episodes.
Ivy didn't seem to be too popular of a character anyway, so this might be a welcome departure. Are you going to miss Ivy?
