Doesn’t it seem like there are a ton of awesomely talented, good-looking, heart-stealing boy bands out today, making us all go crazy? Well, with so many groups out at once, Ology.com has decided to launch the “Best Boy Band Competition 2012”!
This contest is a battle of the fans, to determine which boy band has the craziest, most passionate fan base and DESERVES the title of Best Boy Band.

The Jonas Brothers
The Wanted

The Ology Team has created a group (aka an “ology”) for each of the nominated boy bands. Fans can join these groups by clicking the links above and then the green follow button (you'll see it at the top of the page).
The Boy Band whose ology has the most followers and fan activity by the end of the contest will win the title of “Best Boy Band 2012”!
Contest Dates: 5/22/12 @ 6pm - 6/5/12 @ 6pm

So here’s what you need to do: *Everything you do earns your boy band points!
1. Click one of the links above for your favorite boy band and then the green “Follow” button to join the group (50 points for every new follower in the ology).
2. Post in the ology that you follow – Share pics, video, stories, gifs, poems, and anything else about your boy band (5 points for each post in the ology).
3. Comment on posts you see in the ology (10 points for each comment in the ology).
****ANY BOY BAND OLOGY THAT REACHES 500 FOLLOWERS BY FRIDAY, 5/28, WILL EARN AN ADDITIONAL 1000 POINTS (on top of the 50 points for each new follower)!****
- - Ologies will get a special reward if the nominated boy band tweets or posts about the contest, OR a member joins the ology.
- - Points will be deducted for spam posts and comments. DON’T SPAM!
The winning boy band will be announced on Thursday, 6/7/12 @ 1pm. Also, the 20 most active members of the winning Boy Band ology will receive custom group t-shirts. Check out them out below:

How do you become one of the 20 most active fans?
1. Be sure to have a profile picture!
2. Post a lot of interesting and cool stuff in your band’s ology
3. Comment on other people’s posts
The more you do on Ology.com, the greater your chance of winning one of the 20 prize shirts :-).

Ology reserves the right to investigate group activity from contestant ologies and disqualify any Ologist it suspects cheated or attempted to circumvent contest rules. All contest entrants must be at least 13 years of age at the time of entry to be considered eligible. Contest winners will be sent any and all required tax documents concerning their prize winnings no later than January 1, 2013.
