It's the most wonderful time of the year! Campaign season, that is. After enlisting supermodel Gisele Bundchen for their poolside spring 2012 ads, Versace takes a turn for the blunt, hand picking Prada exclusive Elza Luijendijk to star in the label's Fall 2012 campaign.
Styled by Joe McKenna, the womenswear campaign showcases Donatella's gothic-inspired aesthetic with a black-and-white photo of Luijendijk standing alongside a dreamy mural clad in a black key-hole-backed graphic dress with mesh knee-highs and blunt, straight-across bangs. Of course, the campaign was shot by none other than Mert & Marcus - a Versace fave.
The menswear campaign, which (unfortunately) is a tad bit boring, features Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner and Kacey Carrig. What do you think about the season's first fall 2012 ads?
