I know this is the last day of the contest but I thought what the hell? I want to see how this does, I am actually quite proud of it.
I have been working on this idea for a few days but finding the right shots to represent the idea was difficult.
I also wrote a poem for it which I had originally written on the piece but I decided that just the quote was better. I am a terrible poet. I will share it here anyway though.
I guess it's called 'The Grave I'll Never Have', that's the phrase that got stuck in my head when it started trying to write it last night as I lay down to bed(a very inconvenient time for me to come up with a poem or any writing).
No one will stand at my grave to weep
or have a memory of me to keep
I will never grow
I should have died long ago
but I never will
I am sentenced to eternity for my sins
to rob my own happiness
I will never have a grave
I will only send others to theirs.
