In ongoing Upfront news as the big networks are set to announce renewed series, those brand new shows that will be joining them, and the unfortunate programs that will get the axe, it's being reported that ABC will pick up Scandal for a second season, while leaving GCB for dead. Both series are currently on the air, but while GCB has shrunk its audience week-to-week, Scandal has managed to have an impressive hold in its 6 weeks of airing.
UPDATE: It's just been announced that ABC has also decided not to pick up Pan Am, Missing, or The River, but has given Don't Trust The B---- in Apartment 23 a second season.
UPDATE: Private Practice and Body of Proof have been reported as renewed, along with Last Man Standing.
