In the immortal words of Bill O'Reilly, there's no words there. Local television is a veritable treasure trove of of hilarity, one that often exposes the myriad ways we humans become obsessed by the mundane, or the inane. It's funny -- and often painful -- to watch local television because we see ourselves in the visages of those feeble characters who vainly attempt to make meaning of their futile lives.
That said, I'm fairly certain almost no one will see him or herself in the face and mind of Jane Skryboda (?), who spoke to the Lincoln (Nebraska) City Council in protest of a proposed anti-discrimination law that would favor those abomindable gays.
Jane really, really dislikes gay people, and to support her thesis that they are an offense against nature and humanity (I assume that's her thesis), she rattles off a series of historic "facts" that are apparently unconnected except by the fact that, you know, gay people ruin everything. From Judas to Hilary Clinton, gays have served only to destroy society.
I could go on, but to appreciate fully the genius of this woman's insanity and conviction, you have to watch the video for yourself. A day after President Barack Obama endorsed gay marriage, Jane keeps fighting the good fight. I promise this will be the funniest video you will watch in a long, long time.
