We're finally ready to shout it out.
Do you BELIEVE now?
You ought to, because 'X-Files' has finished in 1st place, winning by over 13,000 points! ‘Firefly,’ ‘Fringe,’ and ‘Lost’ battled back and forth trying to beat out 'X-Files' (going as far as posting an aggressive fight-to-the-finish “let’s beat, X-Files” post). It is obvious that the ‘X-Files’ team devotion and love for their show is unmatched by much else, not just because of the volume of contest posting and commenting, but by the depth and weight of their covnersations. The other teams definitely made a presence, but the ‘X-Files’ is the only team that held any momentum during the full course of this contest. Everything from the “normal” to the “way far out” about this show has been appreciated by its fans.
We love holding contests like these. We get to see the passion of fan bases, and the ‘X-Files’ fans reigned supreme. We read posts in the X-Files Ology about “the first time I watched X-Files”, or “what X-Files has taught me”...three cheers to you all for making your ology a place to share and connect!
The top three shows did an amazing job. ‘X-Files’ really drove their way up the rankings, and we are more than glad to have had them as partakers in the contest. We especially congratulate ‘X-Files’ on staying in first throughout this Ology contest! ‘Lost’ and ‘Fringe’ fought all the way, and their loyalty to their fandom has both impressed and excited us. It’s really cool to see people love their favorites shows as much as all three of you fandoms do.
