Have you ever worked in retail? Have you ever been semi-forced to clean up a soiled maxi pad in a dressing room? Yea, me too. Turns out we're not alone, and thank god for that. Because there are no real shopping "ground rules," if you will (but there is common sense), the brilliant folks over at Fashionista tapped an anonymous high-end retail worker to lay down the law while reporting from the inside - and it ain't pretty.
The worst offenders? Pseudo-celebrities.
Don’t snub us. We’re told by our management to approach you (and literally everyone else in the store) to ask if you’re “doing alright.” And if (Heaven forbid!) more than one sales associate says ‘hello’ to you and your ‘discrete’ bodyguard over the course of your extremely private/non-attention-seeking retail excursion? You’re Demi Lovato– we created you. (P.S. Dakota Fanning– you rule!)
While us normal folk are usually content with some polite chatter from the store's sales associates, apparently some celebrities just aren't having it - which begs the question, don't go shopping with three bodyguards and get pissed as SH*T when somebody says hello to you, Demi Lovato. To find out if your local retailers hate you, check out the full story here. What's the most inconsiderate thing you've ever seen while shopping?
