Jennifer Love Hewitt's little (or huge) embarrassment with Voice coach Adam Levine may be over for now, but does no one remember that the Client List actress actually dated host Carson Daly back in the day? Come on! We're talking about the TRL days and not just for a month or two. Jennifer and Carson were in a relationship for two years from 1997 to 1999. She even came before Tara Reid and Ashlee Simpson. It may not seem like it now, but back then these two were one of the biggest couples in Hollywood because of his MTV gig.
So, how did the old VJ react? Well, based on the past few episodes of the NBC series, Daly has taken the whole comment in stride.
As for Love, she's still a bit embarrassed. After Adam called her an "aggressive flirt" on the Ellen DeGeneres Show she took to her Twitter to finish the situation off. (It must have gotten awkward when he declined the help of Ellen in setting them up.)
"The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool. #keepcrushesquiet," she tweeted.
Oh, well. As long as she doesn't go on to sing on the show all three should be able to put this very entertaining story behind them.
