If there’s one thing you can say about Miley Cyrus, it’s that the Disney actress has a major soft spot for animals. After spotting a Rottweiler-beagle mix in a cardboard box outside of Walmart Wednesday, the actress decided to scoop up the discarded pup and bring him home. Cyrus debuted the little one to the world via her Twitter account:
“He was left in a box in front of Walmart. I don’t understand how people can be so cruel. That’s why we named him ‘Happy’.”
Wait, Miley shops at Walmart?! Um, awesome!
Happy joins Miley’s growing canine clan, which already includes Lila, Floyd and Zigg.
“From cardboard to Margelia," the actress later captioned with a twitpic of the brown and black pup comfortably slumped atop her designer bag. The two enjoyed the full day together, driving around and getting prim and proper at the local beauty salon. So for all the pup-enthusiasts out there, meet Happy!
