Kings of Leon Bassist Jared Followill Engaged To Model Girlfriend!

It seems all the kings have found their queens. Moments ago, a rep confirmed to Just Jared.com some diamond-encrusted news: Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill is engaged to his girlfriend Martha Patterson.

“Yes, it’s true!” the rep confirmed. “Jared proposed to Martha on April 11^th at his home in Nashville and we’re all excited for the newly engaged couple.”

Followill got down on one knee with a 4-carat rock set on a diamond-covered band, which he designed himself. The 25-year-old bassist and Patterson, a Texas native and model, have only been dating a few months but the relationship turned serious fast. It became apparent that the two were hot and heavy when he announced via Twitter earlier this month that he bought a place in L.A.—where Patterson currently lives. The couple plans to split their time between California and Tennessee.

Despite the massive amount of tears being shed by girls around the world, we wish all the best for the happy couple! Congratulations!
