I don't think I need to tell you that HBO is totally killing it right now. Game of Thrones, Girls, Veep, upcoming True Blood (which I'm not crazy about but whatever)... it's safe to say that 2012 may be HBO's best year yet and most of that is because I finally just bought the package for cable.
The Newsroom is their next sure to be hit, written by Aaron Sorkin, the most writeriest writer of all Writersville. Their first trailer was pretty epic, but this one fails to live up to that one's expectations. It's not that the second one is bad, it just focuses more on the rough and tumble crack team of producers and writers and that sort.
Still, all I can think about is Sports Night, basically the prequel to The Newsroom. It's on Netflix and about sports instead of politics. It's awesome and involves the super hot Josh Charles. So I guess we can watch that before The Newsroom comes out. Plus, can we just give Daniels the Emmy or the Golden Globe? I usually hate when stuff like this panders so we might as well get it over with.
