Do we actually know? I mean, I know the.. the killing was getting to him and all and I know during one of those flashbacks, there's that child staring at him after he and Bishop slaughtered that wedding after-party and of course losing Suren probably had some to do with it. However, I don't think we ever found out what that real "last straw" was that made him want to go clean.. did we?

Jazmin Martin del Campo: Yeah, very good question, he told Suren that it was people and situations, so I'd like to know, it wasn't Suren exactly because in the 50's he was still with Bishop and very interested on build whatever vampires build, like I said in some other sites, he never really seemed to be interested on Suren before the end of last season.

Luna Waite V'''''V: @Bailey, no Josh was not the reason, remember in 1.13 in a flashback he tells Josh that he's been going strait for decades. So it started LOOONG before Josh. The wedding I assume was the same year as Jane because Aidan had the same hair as in the 55 flashbacks. The wedding would have had to be before Jane though because Jane made Aidan ditch Bishop. So Celine could very well have been in that equation.

Viper Virulent: Yeah, I remember Aidan saying he'd been trying to stay clean for decades but he'd always keep slipping up. So that was probably even long before Josh was born. I think it was 1954 but I don't remember for sure.

I'd love to know what that one last straw that broke the camels back was because as far as I can recall, we don't actually know for sure yet.
