We heard shortly ago that Nas would be dropping this new No I.D.-produced track "Daughters" this afternoon via Power 105, and, as was promised, we've got the product here in full quality.
It's pretty much been consensus that "Another Black Girl Lost 2" was one of Nas greatest fiascos as of recent, and for everything that was lacking in the track, "Daughters" makes up for it, essentially being the record that we would assume the prior to be.
No I.D. provides his trademark chilldown soul instrumentals, and as for Nas, he does exactly what we're always looking for. He's lyrically at his prime, doling out on point rhyme after rhyme, and contextually, the record drops some of that heavy knowledge that's always set him apart from your dumbed-down all-pro mainstream emcee.
Anyway, that's enough said. Here's the track, give it a listen, throw up your thoughts. Nas announced earlier this week that his new album Life Is Good will be dropping on July 17, so mark the date down.
