Handbags Carry More Bacteria than a Toilet Seat!
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Many ladies love their handbags and will spend a lot of money for the latest and greatest, but a new study says what is inside those bags may be covered in germs worse than what you’ll find in the bathroom.

It looks as though Harper's Bazaar Spain interrupted a Gucci Resort 2012-clad Liya Kebede's cruise ship lounging time on their May 2012 cover. [FGR]

Thought neon would be huge this spring? Nope. Opt for breezy pastel hues like sea foam green and cotton candy blue thanks to Marc Jacobs. [WWD]

College is a often the first place for girls to really experiment - with their style (sickos!). Check out 17 spring-ready street style looks from NYC campuses. [Refinery29]

The Cut's Julie Klausner reviewed FIT's Barkinistas Dog Fashion Show because why not? [The Cut]

BCBG's Max Azria is on the receiving end of a $220 million lawsuit over a Playboy condom deal gone awry. [TMZ]

Turns out Northeastern prom-goers spend almost twice as much on prom ($1944!) than Southerners. That's just dumb. [HuffPo]

Thought Etsy was only good for vintage owl lockets and the occasional studded jean vest? Now you can get all your Mitt Romney-themed crafts there, too! [Jezebel]

Um, so Starbucks has a secret menu, and as bougie as it is, I was everything on it. Especially "The Nutella." [Death & Taxes

Lauren Caruso: Haha I couldn't imagine being one of those jerks that asks for a trillion modifications. Thanks for the input!

Andi Chrisman: Starbucks' "Secret Menu" is a fake. First off, whoever made this graphic uses various terms for Frappachino--frap, frappe, etc. Starbucks wouldn't let an official piece go without using their most popular brand name as often as possible. Second, French Vanilla is hazelnut and vanilla, not toffee nut. Third, the simple fact is these aren't recipe cards (with the exception of the Blended Strawberry Lemonade), so your barista was never trained to make them.
If you ask for any of these, expect some odd stares and confused looks.
But many of these items do sound tasty. And as long as you don't mind being thought of as a pain in the ass customer, you could instruct the barista in exactly how to make your drink. They are required to follow your instructions to a T and you can return it if its not right.
- 5 years experience as a barista for Starbucks and other companies.
