Game of Thrones is the "Most Killer Show" because there have been so many deaths that it's hard to pick out the most memorable one. The show began with two beheadings and the first season ended with the beheading of its main character. In between, there were several tournament casualties, one poor fellow was stabbed in the eye, another was drowned in molten gold, and a couple of men had their tongues ripped out. If you were lucky, you went out fighting, forever securing your legacy as a badass. If you were *really* lucky, you were snuffed out by a pillow and avoided the pointy ends of crossbows, spears, and swords (sometimes simultaneously).
And don't think for a moment that the innocents have escaped such brutality. In fact, their fates were often the most horrendous because of their helplessness. The first episode ended with a child being tossed from a tower. Later, another boy was trampled by a horse; he ran, but not very fast. And this season has been no better. Every episode so far has seen a child either slaughtered, sacrificed, or sliced in the neck. Yield, for all the good it will do you!
(Bizarrely, there is one faction that has survived at a better rate: the ladies. Of the four women who have died by this point in the books, only two have been killed on the show. Either there's hope for them or the worst is yet to come.)
So what do you think has been the most memorable death scene in Game of Thrones?
