It's 2:27am Saturday night (or, Sunday morning, rather) and I'm half asleep when my friend Amanda texts me the following: "Radiohead live from Coachella. Now. Get on." Forced to make a split-second decision whether to get up, power up the notebook and watch Radiohead's two-hour Coachella set in all its live, shitty-stream glory or go to sleep, I decided to go with the latter. Major mistake. The band (looking and sounding fantastic) tore through a double-handful of mainly post-Kid A favorites with expert precision and, of course, a whole new slew of Thom Yorke dance moves for me to learn.

Set List:
"Bloom" "15 Step" "Weird Fishes/Arpeggi" "Morning Mr Magpie" "Staircase" "The Gloaming" "Pyramid Song" "The Daily Mail" "Myxomatosis" "Karma Police" "Identikit" "Lotus Flower" "There There" "Bodysnatches" "Idioteque" "Lucky" "Reckoner" "After The Gold Rush/Everything In Its Right Place" "Give Up The Ghost" "Paranoid Android"
Was very pleased to see them perform a few of my moody personal favorites ("Weird Fishes", "Pyramid Song") as well as a few prerequisite crowd pleasers ("Karma Police", "Idioteque") and finish things off on a major high with "Paranoid Android". The new King of Limbs songs have more or less dictated the inclusion of "weirder" tunes like "The Gloaming" and "Myxomatosis" (no complaints here), so fans winging about The Bends will probably have to wait until next tour… or, who knows, next weekend.
