Finally, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged! In Jolie fashion, the news has been unveiled today, Friday the 13th, that Pitt and Jolie have taken the next step in their relationship. "Yes, it's confirmed," Pitt's manager Cynthia Pett-Dante tells People.
Angelina was spotted at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Chinese Galleries rocking a huge engagement ring on Wednesday.
Since before Oscar Awards season Brangelina has been vocal in telling reporters that a wedding may be on the way. They never needed the nuptials to know how they felt but becoming husband and wife is what their children wanted to see happen.
"It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time," the rep adds.
Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 48, (a 12-year age difference that no one ever really thought about because this is Brad and Angelina we are talking about) have been together since 2005 and have six children together. Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5 and twins Knox and Viv, 3.
Seven years in the making since meeting on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and the affair rumors that followed, Brad finally put a ring on it. Many are probably hoping for a huge lavish wedding but it wouldn't be surprising if these two ducked away and conducted a very quiet ceremony for just them and their children to enjoy.
