Because womyn (THAT'S RIGHT I SPELLED IT WITH A Y) are so cool and badass these days, Hollywood is falling all over themselves to get likable (and let's face it...hot) young girls starring in intense action flicks. Enter the reboot that nobody really wanted- Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Now, we all remember Melissa Joan Hart and her sassy sidekick Salem. You don't remember Salem? Well well well...
Ah that was awesome. Anyway, take whatever you know about that classic sitcom and turn it on it's head because Sabrina The Teenage Witch is getting a dark and gritty reboot (like everything else)!
Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari will pen the script and Mean Girls' Mark Waters will direct. According to IMDb there's not too much that you would know about the writers, but what we do know is that it's going to be sort of a coming of age story about discovering breasts and boys and superhero powers. You know, that same ol' bag.
The worst part about this not so bad news is that they're remaking Salem into a "transformed Prince" that serves as an aid to Sabrina. PASS. Bring back the cat and then we'll talk, Hollywood.
