It's official. Almost five years after her 2007 DUI case, Lindsay Lohan has fully completed her probation requirement. No, she won't be receiving a certificate or taking graduation pictures with the judge. But what she will be able to do is kiss those court dates and check-ins with her probation officer goodbye!
With stints in jail, several trips to rehab and even that whole stolen necklace ordeal piling up in her corner, it was obvious that trouble was here to stay for LiLo. However, judge Stephanie Saunter who resided over the case shared some words of encouragement about the comeback star, actress, Lindsay. "She has done everything this court has asked of her... She did it."
Saunter advised Lohan to stop nightclubbing and start focusing more on her work. "It's not that hard to stay out of trouble," Saunter said. "I know it's when you have people following you all over the place, but that's the life you chose."
A rep for the now-ginger haired actress says that Lindsay is "ready to open a new chapter" in her life and is "very eager to get back on set and jump into her next few projects."
Lohan has already been booked to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime film titled Liz and Dick.
Though one battle has been won for the LiLo camp, the war still isn't over. The previously mentioned stolen necklace case earned Lohan an informal probation requirement which doesn't end until May 2014. She will need to stay completely out of trouble or risk being sentenced to a maximun of 245 days in jail for violation.
Good luck.
