Video: Grizzly Bear's "Yet Again" Performance On 'Ellen' Finally Airs
Better late than never, right? Last month, Grizzly Bear filmed a performance of Shields single "Yet Again" for The Ellen DeGeneres Show which was apparently shelved until today's episode. Apparently, they're one of Ellen's all-time favorite bands… so I'm guessing she was simply enjoying the clip in the comfort of her home for a month before finally deciding to air it.

Watch: Arctic Monkeys Debut New Song "Do I Wanna Know?"
Arctic Monkeys performed a brand-new song titled "Do I Wanna Know?" last night at the Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, CA, the lead date of their 2013 tour and first show since the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony last July. A slow-burning, tightly wound bit of business, the song will presumably show up on their still super secretive fifth album, expected out later this year.

Cat Power Vows To "Leave America" In Bizarre Instagram Rant
No judgments or thoughts, really, but yes, Cat Power's Chan Marshall did post a truly bizarre rant on the official Cat Power Instagram account yesterday, promising to "leave America" due to the "powers that be" "[raping] this earth with its lies, protection of wealth, and vicious slayings."

Okay, first of all, if you haven't seen The Shins' recent Funny Or Die clip about the totally real making of their new album Port Of Morrow (out now), remedy that right here:
You won't find it online anywhere, but don't be fooled—Clapping Butter is absolutely real, absolutely amazing, and absolutely essential if you want to sound even remotely like The Shins. How do we know that Clapping Butter isn't just some goofy FOD joke? Um, well, because James Mercer & Co. debuted the full-length version of the Clapping Butter theme song on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show last night. Check out it out:
Major huge props to keyboardist Richard Swift for that awesomely so-bad-it's-not-bad-anymore post-Axl Rose lead vocal... and his "whatever, I don't even care, dude" reliance on a handy, nearby lyrics sheet. I wouldn't go so far as to say that Port Of Morrow could have used a few songs this raucously badass, but it wouldn't have been so terrible, now would it? I haven't laughed this much at/with James Mercer since... well, ever. "If you want to trip the clap fantastic" gets me every time.
Okay, so who wants to make me a ringtone of this? Anyone? No? Well, you could at least read my rave Port Of Morrow review (right here) and then tell us why Clapping Butter rocks your world (and/or your junk) in the comments section below.
