Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are used to getting photographed every day. Whether it's in between meals or after a late night Broadway show in New York, the Hollywood couple are always getting noticed and always onto their next destination with daughter Suri. Her every need, her every appointment--looking on to see what funny pose she does next. Since she was born Suri, now 5, has been a paparazzi's dream. But to her parents, she's been a daughter who needs to stay protected. And rightfully so.
But does she really need to be carried around all the time? From a restaurant's doorway to the entrance of a limo, Suri seems to be keeping her designer shoes untouched while keeping her jacket in tact, usually placed over in every picture. Is it really necessary?
Yes and no. Yes, because the paparazzi is always hounding the family, pressing the duo to protect their daughter. After all, it must be tough trying to raise a child in Hollywood and from day one having to explain that this kind of shoving on the street in order to make money is not normal by any standard. However, at times it doesn't seem necessary at all.
Here's 5 milestones that 5 year olds reach:
1. They can understand who the people around them are. [Ex. Paparazzi]
2. They understand rules.
3. They can be afraid of loud noises and some people. [Okay, so we'll give you this one.]
4. They can make up a game with simple rules.
5. They can walk.
