While TV shows typically live and die by the all-telling Nielsen ratings, there's still an importatnt stat that should--but isn't entirely--noted when it comes to measuring the popularity of the shows we love: ILLEGAL DOWNLOADS! And if you think that the porportion of downloads via torrents to actual viewers is equal, you'd be wrong: the year's most downloaded series, HBO's Game of Thrones only lands about 4.2 million weekly viewers, paling in comparison to hits like The Big Bang Theory (15.8 million) and How I Met Your Mother (10.4 million). A 'Big Bang Theory' Baby Has Arrived!

Big Bang Theory actor Simon Helberg and his wife Jocelyn Towne have welcomed daughter Adeline on May 8, a rep confirms to Us Weekly. The couple first announced that they were expecting in January. "The family is thrilled," a source says. "Simon is excited to be a father -- he's been doing his reading." The two married in 2007 and this is their very first child together. Adeline has officially become the very first baby to join the CBS cast! Kunal Nayyar married in March 2012 while Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons don't seem to be anywhere near starting a family just yet. Congratulations to the happy couple! The Big Bang Theory continued to pull out the big, comedic guns with the third episode of the season. In the beginning, the men made the show funny. Mainly because there was only one girl on set and she got stuck with the dumb-blond stereotype. Last season, however, Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady brought some much needed estrogen to the show. Now normally I don't like the addition of new characters. They either annoy the hell out of me (EX: Priya from Big Bang Theory) or add nothing to the show (EX: Priya from Big Bang Theory).
