I wouldn't keep holding my breath for a new Raconteurs album any time soon, but it's still a damn good time to be a Jack White and/or Brendan Benson fan—both Detroit rockers have solo albums coming soon (White's Blunderbuss drops April 24, while Benson's fifth album What Kind Of World will appear one week later on May 1) and their (I think) criminally underrated side project has a new live DVD/Blu-Ray on its way as well.
Consequence Of Sound reports that The Raconteurs' Live At Montreaux 2008 will be in stores June 18. On the off-hand chance you weren't there in person, here's the set list:
"Consoler Of The Lonely"
"Hold Up"
"You Don't Understand Me"
"Top Yourself"
"Old Enough"
"Keep It Clean"
"Intimate Secretary"
"Level"
"Steady, As She Goes"
"The Switch And The Spur"
"Rich Kid Blues"
"Blue Veins"
"Many Shades Of Black"
"Broken Boy Soldier"
"Salute Your Solution"
"Carolina Drama"
So okay, poll time—which release are we most excited about? Jack White's solo debut, Brendan Benson's What Kind Of World, or this long-overdue Raconteurs concert DVD? Let us know in the comments section below.
