Kate Middleton Embraces The Peplum Trend On A Trip With The Queen

Though some may disagree with me, I think Kate Middleton is always classically stylish, what with all the modest, demure hemlines - her recent outing with the Queen to De Montfort University proved to be no different. Staying right on the spring’s newest trend, Kate stepped out in a LK Bennett peplum jacket over a matching dress. Though she stuck with her go-to favorite designer, the peplum jacket and dress looks stunning on Kate.

Peplum has been heavy on the runways since early 2011, and because the statement-making trend thrived in  many a spring 2012 show - designers like Jason Wu, Thakoon and Cynthia Rowley offered updated takes on the structure-shifting must-have - it seems the look is here to stay!

Is it just me or does the Duchess of Cambridge also seem to be - thankfully - missing her signature nude tights?
