Lots of plus-size models in the news today!
You may have seen Kaela Humphries in that one episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York where Kim doesn't know Kris' sister is coming to visit until, like, a day before she arrives and Kim totally flips out and cries about it. Normal.
Anyway, because the Kardashian's know how to position themselves so firmly in the spotlight, we only briefly saw footage of Kaela - who, by the way, is goddamn beautiful (and even though she stands at 5'10'', she's significantly less awkward than her brother). The 29-year-old brunette, who moonlighted with Wilhelmina Models in Los Angeles last year, has just been picked up by Ford Models for its plus-size division.
“She is a true size 16-18 and is going to be a fantastic asset to Ford,” Gary Dakin, head of FORD’s plus-size division, told Fashionista.
