Do you watch a classic TV show or listen to an old
song and wonder, "What happened to that person?" Welcome to Where
Are They Now, an Ology feature dedicated to finding out what happened to
some of Hollywood's former bright stars. This
week, we take a look back at one of our favorite TV families: the Tanners! and see what they're up to now.
Bob Saget (Danny Tanner):

Before taking on the role as one of America’s most beloved fathers and hopping
on as the original host of America’s Funniest Home Videos, Bob Saget spent his
time and attention on a burgeoning career in comedy. So it’s no surprise that
once the highly rated family sitcom came to an end in May of 1995, Saget
returned to the platform that set his career in motion. The actor and blue
comedian kept busy by appearing not only in small screen shows like Raising Dad, but also on Broadway withThe Droswy Chaeron and behind the lens with For Hope & Dirty Work. Some if his cult-classic cameos include his re-occurring role on HBO’s Entourage where he played an obnoxiously hilarious parody of himself and in the
stoner comedy Half Baked. He
currently narrates for the Emmy award-winning sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
John Stamos (Jesse Katsapolis):

The hottest uncle on the block ditched the mullet post Full House and kept busy on the sitcom circuit on shows like Thieves and Friends. He married Victoria’s Secret model and actress Rebecca
Romijn in 1994, but divorced in 2005 due to rumored issues of fidelity.
Stamos also tried his hand in Broadway, appearing in How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying in 1994 and donned
the producer cap for the Emmy-winning biopic The Beach Boys: An American Family. He then reprised his role as
Tony Gates on the medical drama ER and starred in the small screen adaptation
of A Raisin In The Sun in 2008. Stamos
maintains contact with many of his Full
House cast members, including American rock band the Beach Boys, and even
stepped in as Roastmaster for The Roast
Of Bob Saget in 2008. You can currently catch him in Oikos Greek Yogurt
commercials. Yum.
Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone):

On camera “uncle” Joey was best known for his comedic voices and impersonations. However, the real-life Dave didn’t stray far from his on-screen affable character. After his
stint on Full House, the comedian returned
to his stand-up roots and continued to lend his talents and voice to several
cartoons and even stepped in to voice Felix
The Cat from time to time. Coulier took on a few acting roles, most of
which appeared on the Disney
Channel and Nickelodeon.
However, when on-screen acting roles were proving difficult to book, Coulier
tried his hand in reality television appearing on The Surreal Life in 2003 and Skating
With Celebrities in 2006. He also took on hosting gigs and just recently
launched a website dedicated to comedy for a younger audience called cleanguys TV.
Candace Cameron-Bure (Donna Jo “DJ” Tanner):

Goodie-two-shoes Donna Jo Tanner, better known as DJ, decided to entertain
only a few acting roles after her time on Full
House. After marrying Russian NHL hockey player Valeri Bure in 1996 (Dave
Coulier introduced them) Candace focused heavily on cultivating her family
and faith. Much like her famous brother Kirk Cameron, Candace often times
visits congregations across the nation as a guest speaker. She wrote Reshaping It All: Motivation
for Physical and Spiritual Fitness and earned herself a
spot on the New York Times Best Seller list. You can currently catch her on ABC
Family’s hit show Make It Of Break It as Summer Van Horn.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner)

Umm, must I really spell it out?
Lori Anne Loughlin (Rebecca Donaldson-Katsopolis):

Lori Anne got her start in print modeling and
eventually landed a re-occurring role on Full
House as Joey Katsopolis’ love interest, and eventual wife. But before the
concept for hit family comedy even came to fruition, Loughlin was toying with
the idea of playing Sarah Connor in the1984 film The Terminator. Obviously, she turned it down. Fun fact though: The
wedding dress worn in her two-part wedding episode on Full House was actually the same dress she wore to her real life
wedding to first husband Michael Burns in 1989. She divorced Burns but then
re-married fashion design Mossimo Giannulli in 1997. Since Full House Lori Anne’s held supporting roles on Spint City, Seinfeld, Summerland and The Drew Carey Show. She currently stars
in the spin-off series 90210 as
Debbie Wilson, and works often with Scott Weigner (Steve Hale) who is a writer
for the show.
Scott Weinger (Steve Hale):

Ironically, one of Scott’s biggest roles post Full House had absolutely nothing to do with his boyish good looks. The now 36-year-old actor was cast as the lead-voice behind Disney’s 1992 animated film Aladdin and again in the Disney Channel series Aladdin, straight-to-video sequelsThe Return of Jafar and Aladdin and The Kinf of Theives. Upon the completion of the family comedy however, Scott decided to take his talents to Harvard University, where he graduated with a magna cum laude degree in writing. Aside from penning and producing award-winning short films, he also scribed a few episodes for the WB television series What I Like About You. From 2008-2009 he wrote for the short-lived drama series Privileged and currently serves as writer-producer for the CW spin-off 90210.
Jodie Lee Ann Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner):

If you were waiting for the ‘troubled young star, drug-addict rehab’ story, here it is. After Sweetin’s time on Full House the she began entertaining recreational drugs such as ecstacy, coke and meth, which she admits stemmed purely from a place of boredom. In 2009, she wrote a memoir suitably titled unSweetined, which heavily discussed her alcohol and drug abuse. She still considers herself a recovering drug addict. She is currently engaged to her boyfriend of three years Morty Cole and the pair is currently expecting their first child together, but Jodie's second all together. She had been married twice before, with Candace Cameron-Bure serving as the matron of honor in her first marriage to officer Shaun Holguin.
Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler):

Barber retired from acting soon after her Full
House days, but still keeps in contact with her on-screen turned off-screen
best friend Candace Cameron-Bure. She married Jeremy Rytky in 2002 and enjoys
motherhood with two adorable children.
Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit

The IMDB accounts for these adorable twins are entirely barren, aside from their credited roles in Full House. The two retired immediately after the wrap of the family comedy. According to their profile, these two San Fernando Valley residents are just "trying to lead normal lives."
