Here's the trailer for the documentary Wonder Women! The Untold Story Of American Superheroines. It looks pretty swell, you guys, and I'm not just saying that because I happen to be a woman and (swear you won't tell?) I happen to have pretty cool super powers. Not like, levitating super powers, but the power to consume large quantities of iced coffee and remember what year a movie came out. My friend is impervious to brain freezes. I'm just saying, women are continually getting super-er and super-er.
But enough about my life. The documentary follows the path that women superheroes have travelled dating back to Wonder Woman's inception and moving all the way in to women filmmakers and creative types in contemporary culture.
Maybe I'm bias, but we need more women in Hollywood, preferably not only in bikinis and licking lollipops.
