I'm sure Adam Lambert's fans have some kind of nickname but I don't know it so congrats to [Adam Lambert Fans]!! The singer has announced that he is fronting for Queen on their summer tour. You know what guys, I don't hate it.
First of all, Adam Lambert is kind of the closest you can get to Freddie Mercury. So help me if you say that Lady Gaga should do it because you're wrong. If Lady Gaga did it, it would become the Lady Gaga tour, with back up band Queen. I have a feeling that Lambert will actually let the band take a lot of the credit, as well he should.
Anyway, Glambert (is that a thing?) cites Freddie as one of his biggest influences in his career and just general life. We can talk about the whole gay thing, but let's not cheapen this news with merely consequential facts. What we should cheapen are the tickets, which will inevitably be a billion dollars for nose bleed seats. I think to truly pay tribute to Queen we should pay what they paid back in the day when Freddie was fronting. The price? $6.50.
