Maybe it's just me, but the first time I heard Tavi Gevinson speak, I was a little taken back - I had assumed the sartorially geriatric 15-year-old would have a high-pitched, if not mousey voice. Boy, was I wrong.
Turns out the sartorial wunderkind will continue to put her amazingly resonant voice to work this New York Fashion Week - Tavi plans to stop by the Standard Hotel in the East Village on Feb. 12 to sing a cover of Neil Young's "Heart of Gold." Keep in mind this is the same night that "Cadaver" - an animated movie where Tavi also also covers Mr. Young, will be screened. Anyone else wondering how the hell Tavi - now the founding EIC of her own online magazine/style haven, Rookie - finds the time?
