The Skyrim 1.4 update is now alive and kicking on PCs through Steam. Sorry console gamers, you'll have to wait until next week to get the bevy of bug and quest fixes that will finally allow everyone to fill the bookshelves of their lovely mansions without them morphing into bottomless pits of illiteracy.
Skyrim ported to... a TI-84 calculator?
Skyrim 2012 is back with a vengeance
Perhaps more importantly, the update will also add Skyrim launcher support for the Steam Workshop on the PC, which will be the platform for gamers to share mods created on the soon-to-be released Creation Kit. Bethesda had promised the Kit "near the end of the month" but apparently we'll have to wait just a little while longer until we're knee deep in glorious mod heaven.
Sprint your way over to the Bethesda Blog if you have the stamina to wade through the full list of fixes.
What changes are you most excited about in the update?
