Nobody ever listens to the Starks, but maybe we'll pay more attention to winter's (continued) approach now that no less an adorable authority than Punxsutawney Phil has issued the decree. The prognosticator of prognosticators reportedly told a crowd of thousands Thursday morning that we have six more weeks of winter ahead of us. Some in the crowd reacted with boos, so replace Ned Stark with a fluffy groundhog and the scene at Gobbler's Knob was basically a recreation of the climactic scene of Game of Thrones's first season.

Just as in Westeros, Phil may have a bloody confrontation looming on the horizon. A pretender to the crown, aka Staten Island Chuck has ruled that an end to winter is near. Who will win in the horrible, furry battle of Groundhog Day lords to come? How many must die for a victor to be crowned?
